Acceptable Use Policy
This policy sets the line for what's allowed when you use Pixel Wrangler — and it applies to your shoppers using the Customizer through your store. It's part of our Terms of Service.
1. Who this covers
This policy applies to you as a merchant and to anyone who uses Pixel Wrangler through your store — mainly your shoppers building designs in the Customizer. As the merchant, you're responsible for keeping your storefront within these rules.
2. Content you can't upload
Don't use Pixel Wrangler to upload, create, or print:
- Anything illegal where you or your shoppers are, or anything that breaks Shopify's own rules.
- Work you don't have the rights to — copyrighted images, logos, or trademarks that aren't yours or licensed to you.
- Counterfeit or knock-off branding meant to pass as someone else's product.
- Hateful, harassing, or violent content that targets people over race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or the like.
- Sexual content involving minors, or any depiction of child abuse. We report this to the authorities.
- Content that promotes self-harm, terrorism, or serious violence.
3. Things you can't do with the app
Don't:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the app or the services behind it.
- Scrape, bulk-download, or point bots at Pixel Wrangler outside normal use.
- Resell or rent the Customizer as a standalone service, apart from your own products.
- Get around usage limits or billing — or try to.
- Upload malware, or use the app to attack, overload, or probe our systems or anyone else's.
- Impersonate Pixel Wrangler, another merchant, or anyone else.
4. Your job as the merchant
You control what your store offers and what your shoppers can make, so keep an eye on it. Give people a way to flag content, and act on takedown requests quickly. If a shopper misuses the tools, it's on you to shut it down on your storefront.
5. What happens if this is broken
Depending on how serious it is, we may remove content, suspend the app, or end your account entirely. For anything illegal — especially content involving minors — we'll involve law enforcement. We'll try to warn you first where it's safe and sensible to, but we don't have to.
6. Reporting a problem
Seen something on a store using Pixel Wrangler that breaks this policy? Email hey@pixelwrangler.io with the store, a link, and what's wrong. We look at every report and act where it's warranted.
