Terms of Service

Last updated 29 July 2026

1. Agreeing to these terms

Pixel Wrangler is a product-customizer app for Shopify. By installing the app or opening an account, you agree to these terms. If you're accepting on behalf of a company, you're confirming you can bind that company.

If you don't agree, don't install the app.

2. What Pixel Wrangler does

The Customizer lets you build product templates and gives your shoppers a live editor to personalize them on your storefront. When an order is placed, we render a print-ready PNG or PDF and deliver it to you through Amazon S3 so you can fulfill it.

We add features and fix things often. We'll tell you before we remove something you rely on.

3. Your account and store

You need an active Shopify store to use Pixel Wrangler. You're responsible for what happens under your account, for keeping your login details safe, and for the accuracy of the information you give us. Email hey@pixelwrangler.io if you think someone else has access.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you can't use Pixel Wrangler if the law where you are bars you from it.

4. Plans, billing, and renewals

Your plan, its price, and the usage it includes are shown on our pricing page and in Shopify at the point you subscribe. Subscriptions are billed through Shopify's billing system and renew automatically each period until you cancel.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes unless stated. We can change plan prices; if we do, we'll give you notice before the change reaches your next renewal. You can cancel any time — cancelling stops future charges and takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We don't refund partial periods unless the law requires it.

5. Your content and your shoppers' content

You and your shoppers keep ownership of everything you upload or create with Pixel Wrangler — templates, uploaded images, text, and finished designs. We don't claim it.

To run the service, you grant us a license to store, process, display, and render that content — resizing an upload, generating a preview, and producing the print-ready file. That license lasts only as long as we need it to provide the service and meet our legal obligations.

You're responsible for having the rights to everything uploaded through your store. If a shopper uploads something they don't own, that's between you and them — and you agree not to use Pixel Wrangler to reproduce work you don't have permission to use.

6. Acceptable use

Your use of Pixel Wrangler — and your shoppers' use through your store — is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy. It covers what you can't upload or do with the app. It's part of this agreement, so read it.

7. Our intellectual property

We own Pixel Wrangler — the app, its code, the Customizer, and the Pixel Wrangler name and marks. While your subscription is active, you have a limited, non-transferable right to use the app to run your store. That right ends when your subscription or this agreement ends. You can't copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the app, or strip out our branding where we've asked you to keep it.

8. Availability

We work to keep Pixel Wrangler running, but we don't promise it will never go down. Maintenance, third-party outages — including Shopify and AWS — and events outside our control can interrupt the service. Where we can, we'll warn you about planned downtime.

9. Warranties and liability

Pixel Wrangler is provided as is. We don't warrant that it will be error-free or fit a specific purpose beyond what's described here. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for lost profits, lost sales, or indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability to you for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Pixel Wrangler any time by cancelling your plan and uninstalling the app from Shopify. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or if we're required to by law.

When the agreement ends, your right to use the app stops. We keep print-ready files and account data only as long as we need them, then delete them in line with our Privacy Policy. Export anything you need before you uninstall.

11. Changes to these terms

We update these terms as the product changes. When we make a material change, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If you keep using Pixel Wrangler after a change, that counts as accepting it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pixel Wrangler is established, and any dispute will be handled by the courts there. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
